Sheffield Print Fair 2016 - Call For Artists!
We are proud to launch the 4th annual 'Sheffield Print Fair', which will take place on Saturday 19th November 2016, at St Mary's Church & Community Centre, Bramall Lane, Sheffield.
The event will run from 10am until 4pm, and will feature printmaker stalls as well as print demonstrations and hopefully other activities throughout the day, which we'll tell you about soon. In previous years (4 annual events and 2 specials) we have been bowled over with the interest from applicants and people on the day, so we are very much looking forward to this one! The event is a fundraiser for St Mary's and their projects helping homeless people and refugees.
We are being supported by Folksy, as well as our other champion Sheffield Hallam University, and are offering 44 stalls at the event. We also have a new designer producing the posters for us and will reveal all about them soon too.
We are now looking for applicants for the event, printmakers from Sheffield and beyond; woodcut, mezzotint, linocut, screen-print, wood-engravings, digital prints, monoprints and more!
*Please note - We can't accept prints that are simply reproductions/scans of artworks created in other media.
The application deadline is 12th September 2016, and we will inform all applicants of the result by 29th September 2016.
Stalls are £55 each (a 6ftx2ft table), or £27.50 for a half-table.
